Beer
We love beer. We enjoy brewing it even more than we enjoy drinking it. That’s why we designed our brewhouse to be such a hands on system that allows us great control and flexibility in the brewing process. All our beer is made in-house on our one of a kind ‘Rube Goldbergesque’ manually focused system. Our small size allows for a guaranteed freshness of product and the small batch capability enables great variety.
Our brewery is fiercely independent, locally owned and run…just how the locals like it!

3 PAT'S - Session Red India
Named for 3 locals named Pat - a slight tweak of the original red midstrength ale recipe, now using the Czechia lager strain and some new West Coast hops creating more orange citrus flavours, but keeping the great mouthfeel and dry finish.

OVER THE HILLS - Maibock
Maibock is the hoppier and golden in colour cousin to Traditional Bock and Dopplebock. Brewed for the month of May to be served in the spring time in Germany. This Maibock was brewed in collaboration with 3 Tails Brewing in Mudgee. We wanted a strong golden lager that showed both tradition and new world ingredients. Using Weyermanns Barke Pilsner,Isaria 1924 and Voyagers SM40 malts to create a strong malt chacter, we hopped it with Most hop to bring a new world hop flavour and aroma. Mogwai Labs Lost Souls yeast from a bavarian monastery carries the beer with a strong bouquet of light fruits.

AUGUSTINE BLACK - Schwarzbier
A Bavarian Schwarzbier or Black Lager - one of the oldest beer styles and named for the Augustinian monks who drank it, particularly during fasting times. Maltier and less roasty than the Thuringian style, it features notes of burnt caramel, cacao nibs and stewed dark fruits - the malt bill and yeast esters combining beautifully for a clean, well-rounded flavour. The deepest of red hues, this beer looks black without the light.
